Harold understands that your home is “your castle” and deciding to sell or relocate is a very emotional decision for everyone (adults, children and pets). He will work with you to get you the most amount of money within the shortest period of time, with a closing date that works for you. Harold will offer suggestions and provide guidance where needed to ensure your home is presented to buyers, and other REALTORS®, in the most favourable light.

Harold will:

  • Install and maintain visible signage
  • Place a lock box on your home to ensure secure yet convenient showings
  • Place your home on MLS®, his website and RE/MAX websites within 24 hours
  • Enroll your home in the electronic Showing Time platform to facilitate faster and easier appointment scheduling by other REALTORS®
  • Place your home on his Facebook business page
  • Advertise your home on LinkedIn
  • Create video and place on his Youtube Channel
  • Place your home on Harold's Google Home Page
  • Request feedback from all REALTORS® that show your property, and provide any feedback to you promptly
  • Provide electronic property information sheets to interested Buyers and REALTORS®
  • Present all offers in person if possible, and explain all clauses and terms in detail
  • Negotiate on your behalf to obtain the most money for your home, and the best terms and conditions
  • Once you have sold, forward all paperwork to lawyers, financial institutions, etc.
  • Keep in touch to ensure a smooth closing, and afterwards ongoing follow-up

Before Your Home Is Listed

Call Harold and have him view your home to give you tips and pointers on how to improve your home's appearance and marketability, without spending a bundle on it. By doing this you may obtain a much higher sale price for your home.

During the Listing Period

Harold will be in regular contact with you to give you feedback, discuss market conditions, potential effects on market value, market price changes, and any other items of interest that may have a positive or negative affect on your home’s marketability and final sale price.

When potential buyers visit your home, either be absent or make yourselves as inconspicuous as possible.


  • If offers are made that don’t match your hoped-for price, don’t reject them out of hand.


  • Consider dropping the price if several months go by with few or no offers. If you and Harold have priced your home properly from the start, this shouldn’t be necessary, unless there have been unforeseen market changes.

  • Don’t get discouraged. In buyer’s markets, homes take longer to sell than during boom times. Your home will eventually sell; it’s a matter of Harold finding the right buyer for you.

You have the best chance of selling your home if you work closely with Harold. Ask questions if you do not understand something, or if you are unsure. When he gives advice, listen and take it seriously. He has your best interest at heart!
